Another diabetes child symptom is blurred vision. But, most kids do not realize that their vision is blurry. Diabetes will cause the vision to become blurry, but it is not a constant condition. Therefore, this probably a difficult symptom to recognize. Your children probably also experience some numbness or tingling in their hands and feet. Again, your children probably do not know this symptom or not understand exactly what is going on.
In a child who has diabetes, cuts and bruises probably need considerable longer time to heal, than in a child without diabetes. In most cases, it is easy to simply think that your children has a “bad” cut and it is taking longer to heal.
